Description

The Jockey Club is one of the institutions with more prestige in South America. It’s situated in San Isidro, near 20 minutes from City. Probably the most prestigious Golf Club in Argentina.

The "Azul" (Blue) course was designed by Mr. Allister Mackenzie in 1928 (One of the world's all-time classic designers, author of Cypress Point, Augusta National, Royal Melbourne and Crystal Downs). It is now an auxiliary field of the Jockey Club, although many clubs would wish to have it as its main course.

Mackenzie kept the style of the "Colorada" (Red) in its slopes and forestation, although the holes around the lake were redesigned to give it a very particular physiognomy; when the street dividing hole 2 from 3 is crossed, a new challenge begins, ending when hole 7 par 3 is saved.

The latter has a lake that extends from the tee to the green, and the player has to go over the same way to get to the 8th tee.
